New York Marriott Downtown Hotel

Great location near the 9/11 Memorial and Museum, just a short walk away. the room was modern, clean, and well equipped. the hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

There was no ramp at the entrance, which made it difficult with strollers or wheelchairs. the out-of-service elevator created an unnecessary challenge, especially for seniors or guests with back issues.

The hotel was fabulous with great bar, rooms, staff, and location. Very clean with amazing views over the Hudson at sunset. Highly recommended for all visitors to NYC.

Felt warm, nothing to complain about.

Everything was simply nice. Deluxe king room was well-equipped and well-equipped with a view of the water. Efficient check in was good & the service was excellent. Besides, there was a private parking on-site.

The staff were accommodating and amazingly kind, were waiting for us in the grand reception. The service was impeccable, we had 6 great nights here. The location was favourable, relatively close to a traditional high church.

My recent stay at Marriott Downtown was fantastic! I was in New York for sightseeing and stayed for five nights. The rooms were spacious, clean, and very new. The pillows were firm and the blankets were just right. The elevators were fast, and there were plenty of them. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always eager to help. The hotel is conveniently located near the One WTC and the 9/11 memorial, offering amazing views of the Statue of Liberty. There are also nearby shops, restaurants, and subway stations to explore the city easily. I highly recommend this hotel and hope to return!

Our stay there was very comfortable. The hotel was lovely and exactly what we needed. The property was placed within 12 miles of the airport. Very impressed with the incredible view from our deluxe double room. The staff was amazingly kind and catered to our every need.

That was what I call easy base for city break.

Great location near 9/11 memorial and One World Center. Rooms were clean and staff were helpful. Valet parking was worth the price. Easy access to metro and many attractions within walking distance.

The location of this hotel is perfect for exploring the city. It is easy to get to Times Square with the closest Rector subway station nearby. Additionally, it is very close to two train stations on various lines, making it convenient to travel around. Moreover, the hotel is located near the New York financial center, which is great for business travelers. The restaurant at the hotel serves an excellent breakfast, offering a variety of delicious options.

There was one negative aspect of the hotel. Some guests mentioned that there was confusion and poor communication regarding the billing and pricing.

Clean hotel, I loved perfect location and staff. Large beds and central heating, a safe and a sitting area. They had an easy check-in too. Plus, I was able to park my car onsite. The area was secure, a great base for me.

The location of this hotel is one of the best in the city, as it is near many subway lines and very close to the WTC memorial. Additionally, the staff were extremely helpful with getting me around this city and to the singular restaurant that I wanted to try. The cleanliness and hotel facilities were outstanding.

Restful hotel with beautifully designed rooms and great view at sunset.

Great location, close to major attractions and plenty of dining options within walking distance. the service was top-notch, and we felt well taken care of during our stay.

Beware of the hidden destination fee charged on top of the room rate. the hotel did not clearly mention this fee in the reservation, and the options for spending the fee at the hotel were limited and poor.

Just the first night I asked why they hadn't prepared the couch so my son could sleep. The girl at the front desk told me that he should sleep in the king size bed with us (hence my email that I had chosen and paid for a triple...) The next day a smarter employee understood that they just had to provide me with sheets and a blanket. That said, as everything else was fine I flew over the fact that my son ended up sleeping on a couch (not a sofa bed). This should be clearly stated when making the reservation.

Staff not readily available. Our luggage was lost, we had to exchange by phone with American Airlines, nobody wanted to help us.

I recently stayed at Marriott Downtown for 2 nights and it was an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and the location couldn't have been better. We were close to all the places we wanted to visit and had a stunning view from our room 714. The hotel was clean, and the housekeeping staff, especially Nicky, did a great job. From the front desk to the bell hop, everyone was eager to help. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting.

supplement of 25$ per day and per room, reception requires to take

general cleanliness of the room, quality of the bedding, silent air conditioning. relative calm of the hotel and streets = no noise at night :). location close to the subway allowing you to go almost anywhere + close to the ferry.

I didn't like the 15$/day added automatically for services never used (Bar/Internet etc.)

Spacious rooms with city and waterway views. Clean with comfortable beds. Friendly bellman. Good amenities like fridge and coffee machine. Great location near Battery Park and Statue of Liberty. Fabulous restaurant and free wifi. Close to WTC memorial and Staten Island ferry. a fantastic stay.

beds are very comfortable and staff are very friendly. 1, R, Q stations within walking distance. few minutes walk from the WTC and Battery Park or Wall Street.

As mentioned in many comments, there is a $25 per day mandatory fee that can be used in the restaurant and starbuck of the hotel. I think it's a shame to force the consumption of this mariner. Especially since the hotel only informs you about it when you arrive at the hotel.

As backpackers, we loved the convenient location of the hotel with easy access to the subway and a variety of dining options nearby. Just a short walk from the hotel, we enjoyed a peaceful stroll along the Hudson River with a breathtaking view of the Statue of Liberty. The value for money and picturesque surroundings made our stay truly enjoyable.

This downtown hotel offers prime location to the World Trade Center, 911 Memorial, and several metro stations uptown. several parks and river walks are nearby for leisure time. Rooms offer a marble bathroom with plush bedding and scenic views, while the customer service is friendly and efficient. Visitors can take advantage of the fitness center for a good workout.

Some guests reported issues with getting help from staff with luggage and housekeeping service.

The hotel was close to everything - Oculous , 9/11 memorial, Battery Park. 24-hour doorman. Staff met every need - extra coffee creamers, towels, shampoo. Incredibly roomy, clean, and quiet room. Comfortable bedding. Helpful staff. Convenient parking. Restaurant and Starbucks on premises.

We had a fantastic stay at the Marriott. The location was perfect, within walking distance to the 9/11 Memorial and Museum. The modern and clean rooms were well-equipped, and we were delighted to wake up to a stunning view of the Statue of Liberty from our Harborview room on the 37th floor. The check-in process was quick and courteous, and the bell staff was extremely helpful in storing our bags and arranging transportation. The on-site burger restaurant served delicious food, and there were plenty of other dining options nearby. I highly recommend this hotel for its great location and excellent amenities.

We loved staying here! The location was amazing- nestled in the heart of the Financial District, we were able to explore the vibrant Battery Park district easily. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, from the doorman to the bellhop. Plus, the room was clean and had everything we needed including tea and coffee facilities, mini-bar, and a flat-screen TV.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The location here is absolutely fantastic! It is situated in the vibrant Battery Park district, which is in the heart of the Financial District. This means that there are plenty of great dining options and shops nearby. I loved taking a peaceful walk along the nearby Hudson River, where I was even able to catch a glimpse of the Statue of Liberty. The view from my room was stunning, and it provided a serene oasis in the bustling city.

The king bed was incredibly comfortable, allowing for a great night's sleep. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the 9/11 Memorial. Although there were extra fees, the hotel staff was extremely helpful in explaining them. a good choice in NYC.
